Spectrum served as the waterproofing consultant for this project, providing services for reviewing the waterproofing design and warranty compliance observations. The project was vast and required the mass excavation of 430,000 cubic yards of soil that exceeded a depth of 85 feet and took two and a half years to complete. A soldier pile and lagging soil retention was used at the perimeter of the excavation, with prefabricated drainage panels and bentonite waterproofing applied to it.
Spectrum worked closely with the construction manager, architect, general contractor, waterproofing sub-contractor and waterproofing manufacturer during the construction.
